‘Farm to Table’ was not a far-fetched concept that long ago. Today we make purchasing decisions in every aspect of life. By doing so, we are constantly voting with our money. We have access to fair trade products from all over the planet, which benefits the world community. A modern day buyer can research if the products they purchase are supporting people beneficially. They may find that their hard earnings are indirectly thrown into a pot of global corruption from mindless consumption. These days, buying local and organic is a gateway to creating a sustainable economy, reverting back to the days when all fresh foods and hand-crafted products came from local farmers and artisans. The feasts we shared at our tables came directly from our region, and the tables we built from our local materials. When people take ownership of their lifestyle and commit to environmental responsibilities, they can take pride in striving for the highest quality of life. Because, we are only here a short time, and should be considering how we leave this world for future generations.

Our RECLAIMED WOOD TABLES are Reincarnations, from the Lost Legends of Old Forests. We capture the pure essence and soul of Ancient Coastal Trees. We forged the Cornerstone of Against the Grain Furniture using Traditional Joinery Techniques and Reclaimed Barn Woods.

Our Dinner Tables come with your choice of SQUARE or TAPERED LEGS. We can even make CUSTOM TURNED LEGS on our lathe upon specific request. You are welcome to choose a distressed base color for your legs and apron. We have two authentic styles of Farm Tables to choose from. Some table tops are made with THIN WIDE PLANKS, while others are made with THICK NARROW PLANKS. For a complete set, I provide CUSTOM SEATING to accompany my tables.
We recommend leaving the Rustic Patina of our weathered wood exposed, so its story and character can be shared. We know how to create a table that looks like it was originally found at Daniel Boone’s homestead!
For a fine polished piece, we can reveal beautiful colors beneath the wood’s surface by giving it a clean shave. We mill our timber into exquisite modern furniture that looks shiny and new. We use environmental stains and finishes of the finest quality to treat our woods. Against the Grain tables contain an antique value; old wood = old table.
